1. Name some ways people show that they believe in what Jesus taught.
2. In Luke 6:46-49, Jesus compares faithful believers to housebuilders who choose to build on a solid foundation. As you listen to this episode, think about how Jesus’ teachings are our strength when the storms of life try to shake us down.

A: He built it on a solid rock shelf.
A: He built on the solid rock shelf so that he would have a strong foundation.
A: Nothing moved that house. It was fixed to the rock.
Jesus taught in a few different ways. He told parables about the kingdom of heaven. He asked questions. He quoted the Old Testament. He challenged some with direct preaching. Have you read one of the gospels, like the Book of Mark or the Book of Luke? Take a deep dive into scripture, read one or more of the gospel books, and read Jesus’ words for yourself. As you read, think about and apply what Jesus says to your life. How can you obey Jesus’ teaching today?
