Kids in Action host Sydney meets five student filmmakers who teach people about empathy by creating a movie about bullying.
Make sure that nobody pays back wrong for wrong, but always strive to do what is good for each other and for everyone else.
1. The filmmakers got people talking by creating a movie about bullying. If you were a movie maker, what topic would you make your film about?
2. Jacob tells us that he wanted to make a film about bullying because he wished the bullies could see what they were doing through his eyes. Why is it important to see other people’s perspectives? What does it mean to “walk in someone else’s shoes?”
3. Talk about a time when you understood what someone else was feeling.
4. Why should we “strive to do what is good for each other and for everyone else”?
5. Read Luke 10:25-37. How did the Good Samaritan show empathy?
