Take a few minutes to read the Bible verses listed and ask the Holy Spirit to lead you in how this verse applies to you this week.
14 How can people have faith in the Lord and ask him to save them, if they have never heard about him? And how can they hear, unless someone tells them? 15 And how can anyone tell them without being sent by the Lord? The Scriptures say it is a beautiful sight to see even the feet of someone coming to preach the good news. 16 Yet not everyone has believed the message. For example, the prophet Isaiah asked, “Lord, has anyone believed what we said?” 17 No one can have faith without hearing the message about Christ.

Pretty awesome, right? The Bible is full of amazing stories. But here’s a very important fact about the Bible that you need to know: the Bible is one big story.
Romans 10:17 says that faith comes from hearing the message. So what’s the message? And who is it about?
The Bible is the story of God and his people. Let’s look at those cool facts again:
- God blessed Methuselah with 969 years of life (Genesis 5:25-27).
- God helped young David defeat the giant Goliath (1 Samuel 17).
- God told a donkey to speak (Numbers 22).
Every Bible story points to the biggest story of all: God’s plan to save the world. Sin broke the world, but God sent Jesus to fix it. Sharing this amazing story helps grow our faith—and the faith of others too!
